Why do people do online dating if they're scared to meet people in person? If you're scared, then get off!

Seriously, I'm sick of these so-called women (who are acting like little sissy girls by the way) flaking out and canceling plans to meet up just because they are scared or whatever else they are thinking.





Why are they even on here then if they're so scared to date other people? You can't date an e-mail address or a picture of a person, and you can't really get to know someone online.





Are these people so delusional that they think they can have a relationship solely through e-mails, instant messages, or text messages?





Sure it can be a little dangerous, and I don't doubt there are shady people out there, but the majority of us are genuine people looking for genuine relationships, and I'm sick of people wasting my time.





If you can't stand the heat, please get the #%^%26amp; out of the kitchen and stop wasting people's times who are actually trying to MEET people, and yes I mean face to face. I'm not saying it's only women who do this, because I'm sure there are guys that are just as chicken

Online dating is a safe, first step to socializing. It is a woman's (or man's) own choice when they feel it is the right time to take it to the next step of meeting and they shouldn't be pressured. I'm not trying to sound derrogatory, but if you sound anything on the online dating service like you sound in asking this question, that's a red flag and I can't blame them for not wanting to meet you. Tone it down a bit and see if it helps. If not, maybe online dating isn't your best option.
Reply:I was one of those women that was scared to meet guys online but i decided it was time for a change. I kept talking to guys till one day i felt comfortable enough to want to meet this guy... now we are married and have a beautiful little girl.


maybe these women need to get up enough courage and feel more comfortable with you. but i see what you mean. it can really be disturbing when you are really interested in some one and they just decide they wanted to waste your time and effort
