Do people still like to crucify people nowdays?

For example Michael Jackson was crucified by the audience after being a top singer and all to alligations that were proven wrong. Jesus was crucified wether not Atheists believe it or not he's still being worshiped. Most celebrities people can't wait until something goes wrong so they can throw their critism at them and crucify them . Is the world just waiting to pounce on these people. I mean what's wrong with the world? People are just being people and their living out their dreams. I think that people in the future are going to look back on people nowdays and there gonna think we lived in medievil times. Don't ya think?

People are just too dumb to believe the truth and only believe what the media tells them, so i guess since that's kinda what happened to jesus, then yeah, we still do it, we just don't hang them on a cross anymore, but we definitely hurt their reputation.
