Why do some people act this way?

I'm straight, but I was just wondering why do some people act like being a homosexual is a disease or mental condition? I've always wondered what it would be like if being gay was the accepted way to be, and if straight people were seen as weird and wrong. Racist people drive me crazy. I have black cousins, and homosexual cousins. I see nothing wrong with skin color and sexuality. What bugs me the most is when people say gay people go to hell. Some homosexual people are the nicest people you'd ever meet, and I don't think God sends people like that to hell. I have a boyfriend that I've been with for a year, and I love him with all my heart and he makes me so happy. Gay people have just as much of a right to be happy as well.

Why do some people act this way?
maybe they have had bad experience in the past or so closed minded. i think everyone in this world has a right to be happy and if you fall in love with someone of the same sex it should be OK. I'm a lesbian and wish people were more excepting.

Reply:technically if you hate antigays then you are a hater to. they have just as much of a right to their opinions as you do. i am not anti gay btw, nor am i gay either, lol.





everyone has a right to an opinion, your opinion is that gays are alright other people think otherwise, either one is fine.





now if an antigay goes out and beats someone down because they are gay, then that is wrong. physical threats and violence must be stopped, opinions are allowed.
