Did Obama say that rural people don't really care about God (and/or guns)?

%26amp; they just think they care about God (and/or guns) because they're upset because they can't get good-paying jobs since rural people aren't the kind of people who can get good-paying jobs? Did he also say rural people hate other kinds of people because they R upset about being unable 2 get good-paying jobs due 2 rural people not being the kind of people who get good-paying jobs? And is he also saying that rural people lean on the bible (and/or guns) as "crutches" 2 make themselves feel better about their inability to get good-paying jobs? And isn't Obama also saying that rural people don't even know that they really don't care about God (and/or guns) but rural people don't have the brains to know that they really don't care about God (and/or guns)? Isn't he also saying that rural people don't even know what they're really "bitter" about?

Man, Obama sure has a low opinion of rural people. He thinks rural people R very low on the IQ scale like rats or monkeys or a spoon maybe.

Did Obama say that rural people don't really care about God (and/or guns)?
Barack Obama's exact words were "You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them, and they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

His response was "Obviously, if I worded things in a way that made people offended, I deeply regret that."

Since Obama only regrets that people were offended by the way he worded his comments, he obviously stands by them.

I do not live in a rural area, but I am offended that a persons faith or a person being upset over a high rate of unemployment is called "a way to explain their frustrations."
Reply:the obama fascination is finally wearing off and people are starting to pay attension to what he says . simply put obamas main platform is CHANGE , GIGGLES HOW MANY POLOTICIANS HAS THERE BEEN THAT DIDNT PROMISE CHANGE in our history . its time for the democratic party to realize obama is unelectable , if he wasnt black his inexperience and his life would not even get him as far as he has got so far . lets just review a bit on obama : inexperienced , check ; refuses to have picture taken next to a gay man in san francisco therefore anti gay , check : against rural americans , check ;

time for obama to be decent and just go away
