Are people inferior to someone who looks better than themselves?

I know the answer is no and we're all equal, but then again it is true that people who look more attractive are treat as more worthy, more wanted, more respected, etc than people who aren't as attractive.

Also, if you really liked a girl or a guy and they turned you down because they are not attracted to you, but then date someone else you know who is better looking, surely that is going to dent your confidence and make you feel like you are not good enough?

So are people inferior to people who look better than themselves? I mean how often do you hear and know that some people are in a different league to themselves. Surely if we are all equal this would not be true?

So are people inferior to people who look better than themselves?

Are people inferior to someone who looks better than themselves?
I think it helps if you get the gut feeling or knowledge from a friend that the other person is likely to fancy you, if they do then it gives your confidence a boost,

If she knows she is good looking and you genuinely think you are ugly and she aspires for somebody good looking then unless you are rich or in a position of power, you may be out of luck, it's down to wealth and power, or both.
