Some people!!!.... Have you........?

Ever notice that a lot of people on here go through and give a "thumbs-down" to intelligent answers, but then some ridiculous, short one-line answers that don't make any sense get all the "thumbs-up?" People on this site get a little personal, and just go through and give "thumbs-down" to all the answers given by people they don't like. I personally think it's hilarious how ridiculous some people get. I know we're entitled to our own opinions, which is why I can say some people on this site are just complete idiots, lol!

Reply:Yeah, I know, I think people post their own answer and then thumbs down all the other answers, maybe to try to get the person answering the question to think that the other questions are crap and give them top answer?
Reply:Yes, absolutely. I just made a post about this last week! I hate it when people give a thumbs down on well thought out answers.





We pretty much came to the conclusion it was because they were jealous that they couldn't come up with a good answer themselves or because they had a personal difference of opinion with the answer.





I wish there was a way for Yahoo to monitor too many thumbs down on answers that were actually GOOD answers.

Reply:undoubtedly! i used to spend all of my time in the pets section. being a vet tech for 4 years and a cruelty investigator for the last 2, I think I know a thing or two about animals, yet I get a million and one thumbs down. People are threatened by other's intelligence, which makes them ignorant, even if they are intelligent!

Reply:yes!!! it bugs me soooo much! because sometimes i spend like 20 minutes on an answer and someone puts a thumb down which makes the person asking the quetion think it was a bad answer. sorry if that has happened to u!!! lots of love

Reply:Yes it seems that some people take it a little too personal or too far. Some answers are way out of line I will admit that. I have reported a few people. I usually only report people when they make sexual comments to underage people. Like if a girl posted about her health down there and states her age of like 14 and some jackass posts back about how he can help then that deserves a report filed on them. Thats usually only when I do something beyond rolling my eyes and moving on to the next question.
