Why do people repeat the same answers?

Whenever i read questions that people ask, there are usually at least 5 answers that are exactly the same as all the previous answers. Don't you think one answer will give someone a solution? haha





Also, whenever people put their questions in the wrong section, so many people have to get mad at them and tell them that "this question belongs in ___ section not ___ section!!!!!" Ususally it's a mistake, and I doubt that people try to place their question in an area where not that any people will know the answer.





ok well i dont mind if you answer but i just wonder why so many people are either rude to people who don't know and why they have to repeat the same answer over and over again...?

Why do people repeat the same answers?
Probably because they were all answering and submitting their answers at the same exact time.
Reply:no its because you there are no answers and you want to be the first one to answer it, but when you finish submitting, you notice there are a bunch of people who have written and submitted faster than you. Try it yourself. Happens tons.
Reply:I've noticed the same. Some people answer in the EXACT same way. You would swear that they copied the previous person's answer. It keeps going on and on and on--same answer. It's ridiculous.


Guess it is all about the 2 points.





When I see those kind of answers, I have to go to "Show Me Another" !!
Reply:One reason there are multiple answers is because when someone is answering the question, a few more might be answering at the same time (notice the time frame of answered questions). Anyway, that's my thought.


Another one is that some people want to get their 2 points.
Reply:i think it is just to kinda verify to say that that is the right answer. if more people say the same answer, then it is most likely the right one. i think that people are just paranoid someties with stuff like that. they just need to cool it and answer the dang question!

You know what I have learned in the past WHile I was answering someones question....someone else was typing the same time as me, with the same idea and so it looks like we "copied" each other...does that make sense? Also, I think we people all do think alike...you know..like twins.

Reply:I agree that people answer with the same answer just in the hopes that they'll get the points is ridiculous, but before people post a question there is a list of the systems best places to post the question. People have the ability to state where they want to post their question before they post it, and so if they post it somewhere else by mistake, it's because they were to lazy to read and choose the appropriate option. I know I hate it when, somehow, music question get put in the jokes and riddles forum. They should realize where they are posting, and if they don't it just proves they're to lazy to make sure everything is correct.
