Why are people so small minded, and hyper? like children.?

What I mean is, why are people always so hyper and only seem to be in the here and now, wherever they are, that's where they are, they take everything at face value. Like if they're at a mall, they're there, and they react to people around them, it's just strange because, don't people have any intellectual or abstract thinking to them?





Can't they be in the mall, or at work, wherever, and perhaps have other things going on in their heads? like insurance, vacations, thinking about other things, and not focusing only on the here and now, present moment, and the total BS that goes on, little things, like what other people are saying, wearing, doing, etc.





For example, I walk through the mall and I'm in my own little world, and I pass by people socializing and other people just doing their thing, and just b/c I'm not engaging in their mood and spirits, I'm all serious and disengaged, they give me these cold "ugh" "eww" or whatever looks.





Why are people SO ignorant like this? seriously?

Why are people so small minded, and hyper? like children.?
Immaturity %26amp; Ignorance and a touch of youth!
