Y do people assume that people that wear abercrombie ,ect,are bad mean people?

i wear those brands and people assume taht im mean or a ***** just bacuse i do wear those brandsbut i relly like to help people and im a nice person a lot of people do so and some girls in my school are mean and they think thryre all taht beacuse they wear those brands and thats why people assume tath since i wear thosse brands people think im mean and a ***** but im not is there anything wrong with wearing comfortable clothes that are cute i dont do it just because everybody else does it

well the emo kids think that its "conformist" when people wear abercrombie or hollister when they are the actual conformists, wearing all black haveing sidebangs, and cutting themselves--%26gt;ALL emos are like that.


Its retarded my sister calls me a "hollercrombie" just cause i wear abercrombie and hollister. When people dont have a good choice in clothes and are depressed, the make sterotypes about people who dress better than them. Its annoying.
Reply:People have always steroetyped groups or brands or what not. you will always be judged whether you like it or dont, by you appearance and clothes, affluency, voice, speech, wording ect. its harsh but can sometimes work out for the best. i wear abercrombie too, but im not mean or popular or selfish. i wear it because its really comfortable and i like their clothes. people who jusdge you are only insecure of eachother. dont mind them, just keep doing what your doin and laugh it off k

Reply:Because people automatically assume that some popular people who are (Not all) mean, and it's considered a preppy store or whatever, they think everyone who shops their is that way..
Reply:i wear abercrombie. people do that because they think it makes them cooler. also maybe because they dont prefer that store or they dont have enough money for it since it is expensive. so they are trying to make up for not having enough money. i could be completley wrong w. both ideas but i dont think so. i hope this helps and dont take what they do personally.

I wear Abercrombie all the time, and people don't think I'm mean. When people ask why I shop there, I simply tell them that I like it.
Reply:It's really just a stereotype thing. People who don't know you well will assume things about you by appearance and what not. For example, since you wear Abercrombie, and Abercrombie is considered a preppy store, people will think you are a prep. And usually people think of preps as being mean, snobby %26amp; stuck up. And another reason i'm guessing people assume that you are mean is because those girls at your school who wear Abercrombie are mean. But just get to know everyone and show them that you're a really nice person. (:
Reply:well if you go by the staff there, youd assume they were all bitches, as they are all snarky and unhelpful, its not so much about being mean associated with it, its more, you have no fashion sense if your going to pay that much for such cheap quality ugly clothing, in the same price range, you can get alot of amazing ans tylish items, and no abercrombie is not sytlish....they barely have seasons
