Why are people making such a big deal about Sanjaya on American Idol???

People that don't watch American make such a big deal about how far Sanjaya has made it in the competion. If he wins, he wins, other people who have talent, or at least people say they say they do, can go and make a album anyways, like that one guy last season. I like Sanjaya, if he was a good singer or not. I don't care. What I find rediculous is that people like to take there time to make fun of him and make themselves look stupid, because they now alot of people like him. And Sanjaya has more fans than some people think, that is one of the factors, why he is still in, that and I think he can sing. I don't care about your opinion, every week I vote Sanjaya, as long as I can even if I only get 5 votes, i don't care. My friend gets mad, but its my vote and i like Sanjaya, so if he wants to vote don't bug me about it. But just because people have different opinions about singing doesn't mean you should make fun of them on your own opinion. Like I said I like Sanjaya Malakar.

!! hey at least hes trying very hard and just imagine you a 17 year old kid who goes up infront of a live audience and haveing not only the judges critizing you but all of America and even the world . With all that put on his shoulders he is going up and singing his ultimate best! Now thats what i call an american idol !! There is so many people who gave very bad comments which i think is very lame because i am sure they cant do a thing like sanjaya did.

Reply:I personally like Sanjaya he seams to have a great personality, but he cant sing. Its American Idol for singing. I think this is why people are upset. If he stays on the show someone that can sing, may lose their spot. Its a big deal b/c he has made it this far just based on his charm!!


**side note*** I think he would be great if he had his own show!!!He should be an actor!

Reply:If the Evil Mangler of Music known as Sanjaya Malakar were older I might be able to believe he was cheesing it up ironically. I might have thought “Self, he’s got to know how bad he is, he’s just enjoying his time until his inevitable elimination.” But I don’t believe that for one second. He’s 17 years old, 17 year olds are generally incapable of irony. You kind have to rid yourself of the notion of invincibility to convincingly pull off irony. This kid actually thinks the public loves him. When he commented to Simon Cowell “Welcome to Sanjaya’s Universe” I wanted to jump in my car and drive the 400 miles to the studio the production is in and…well my plan didn’t get much farther than that as it is generally believed that Beelzebub is immortal and I’m pretty sure Sanjaya comes from Hell itself to send out audible, though awful sounding signals that signal we have started the Apocalypse. There just isn’t any logic to this tone deaf, Michael Jackson emulating, so creepy he seems like the quiet kid who grows up to be a cannibal remaining on the show.

Oh excuse me, not JUST remaining on the show, but not even falling in the bottom three. People, I can’t take that smug look on his face for another week. I am so leaving the room next week when Satan’s Apprentice takes the stage. Its one thing to disrespect Gwen Stefani, but to mangle a beloved song by the beloved American Icon Tony Bennett should ensure his spot in hell. Enjoy it Sanjaya, I hear it’s hot down there.





So no Sanjaya in the bottom three. This week I can actually say I am not surprised due to my newfound belief that he’s going to be until we lose a really excellent, talented, modest, deserving contestant like LaKisha Jones or Jordin Sparks while Sanjaya remains grinning like the Cheshire cat as he planned to off Alice.

Reply:Sanjaya's voice is still too immature to take on the title of American Idol. After all, it is a TALENT show, not a HAIR STYLE show. I think it will be a real shame if he wins this contest just because little teenie bopper girls get a thrill when he grins into the camera and sticks his ugly tongue out like he did a couple weeks ago. That is NOT talent, even a camel can do that!!!!!

Reply:I'm not surprised that Sanjaya has such a large fan base. But I am surprised he has made this far in the competition given his limited range and the extensive competition he is confronted with. We know he has some talent or he wouldn't have even made it on Idol at all. Go Sanjaya
