Why do people think Mexicans are the only people that are illegal immigrants?

Theres about every other illegal immigrant but some people usually generalize it towards ALL Mexican people.





It also hurts when people say, 'Mexican people should try to get here legally."


I understand that people need to do things the right way and at the right time, but it's a little ignorant for those people to just a pick on Mexicans when they aren't the only illegal immigrants here.


My parents are immigrants but not illegal immigrants, they've been here their whole life and it's just like people would want to attack that.























I guess just give me thoughts and opinions about my question.

Why do people think Mexicans are the only people that are illegal immigrants?
Because most places of business have mexican workers than any other race.
Reply:I think maybe because alot of the illegal immigrants come from South of the Border and I don't just mean south of the border therefore Mexico, but Chile, Honduras, Argentina, etc. And of course people can't tell what country you are from just from seeing your face, so some people generalize. I don't think they always mean it in an unnice manner, but like I said it is hard to know where someone is from just from their face.
Reply:It's not that everyone thinks only about Mexicans when mentioning illegal immigrants, but the fact that Mexicans are the most likely to be illegal immigrants because the border between the U.S and Mexico is so loosely enforced and that makes it so easy to enter into our country.
Reply:Well, the facts are that most illegal immigrants ARE from Mexico. 56% of of them. 75% of illegal immigrants are from Mexico and Latin America.





No other single country generates the numbers anywhere close to Mexico. Mexico is the only poor country on our borders. It is only an issue because of people from Mexico.





10% of Mexico's population lives in the U.S.


15% of Mexico's labor force works in Mexico.





I'm not making any judgements here. It is just a fact the when people talk about illegal immegration they are talking primarily about from Mexico. Anyplace else requires a boat. (Except Canada, but few come from Canada because there is just as much opportunity there already.)
Reply:Because the U.S. borders Mexico, they jump fences, odds are better that an illegal is Mexican.

Reply:simple most illegals are Mexicans sure there are illegals from other countries but the only ones marching in the streets and demanding rigths that's not there are the Mexicans and Latinos you don't see Canadians nor Arab's nor Mexicans doing that only the Hispanics and a few illegal Asians
Reply:immigrant bashers are fools deluded by greedy tycoons into thinking illegals are to blame for all their problems





statistcally most but by no means all the people coming in are mexican simply cause of geography and the conditions in mexico
