Clinton's up by 9 in a new rasmusen poll, up by 6 in another, and 20 in another. I think Obama is heading south in the polls, %26amp; deservedly so. He basically said rural people R a bunch of dummies who can't get good-paying jobs %26amp; they R bitter about it. He also said rural people "cling" to the bible, guns, %26amp; hate different kinds of people, because of their bitterness about being unable 2 get good-paying jobs. He also said rural people R so dumb they don't even know they do these things (cling to the bible, guns, %26amp; hate people who R different) because they R bitter because they can't get good-paying jobs. Obama's a total arrogant elitist jerk who looks down on rural people like rural people R rats in a maze. I want rural Americans 2 know that I'm a Clinton supporter %26amp; I respect %26amp; love 4 my rural brothers %26amp; sisters. I loathe Obama 4 the stuff he said about U even though I'm a city dweller. U R all welcome at my house anytime.

Yes, I'm pretty much sick of his arrogance. I'm as rural as you can get and I have a good job, a good education, and I'm quite intelligent. I don't cling to religion or guns and I have no hate in my heart. He started losing my support a long time ago and Rev. Wright didn't help him at all and now that he sees me as a "typical white person", I certainly won't vote for someone who generalizes Americans by region, religion, or race. 2D

Some people are so stubborn that they can't admit when they are wrong and they can't see other people's points of view. I hate living among these people. Why can't they just respect everyone else. I used to be like them, but now even though i know my morals and values, im open to listening and considering what other people have to say, and i dont judge them or tell them they are stupid or anything. I also can admit when i am wrong and dont feel bad if i have to change some of my views if i am caught being wrong. Im not going to fight it i look for the truth. I also hate people that only care about gossip and material things, i often find myself trying to talk to people about real issues and real things and they end up thinking im weird, but its like ur just so stupid because all you talk about is your new car and your new hair and your new boyfriend, and i cant say something intellegent around you b/c then you think im weird. What annoys you about people?

Why do people critisize metal music? Is it really that bad. why do people judge it based on one band.?

People criticize metal based on one band. why do people think metal is so bad. Most bands aren't that bad. Take iron maiden for example some songs they write are totally based on events in history. You can actually learn by listening to them. People say metal is just screaming. It isn't it takes alot of skill. Not like rap which is retarded but yet people will still blame metal music for problems not rap which has no meaning and take no talent and have gun fights and argue over who has bigger rims on their escalade. And pop music also retarded who cares about Britney spears. No One. If people would take the time to listen to it. even people like ozzy osbourne he may have made a mistakes but now he is better than ever. Giving to charity, starting careers for new bands with the ozzfest and his music is also very good.

Metal requires so much skill.


In my opinion, it requires more talent than any genre except classical music.


It has many resemblances with classical music -well, Deicide may not have it but Epica does-, and many metal bands are so talented, they make great music with great lyrics...





Rap is just saying stuff on some beat. There's nothing special about it, a rap song can be good in my eyes if it has great lyrics, and i respect 2Pac for it. Pop...don't even let me start on that fake pink weirdos.





Shortly, metal is real music. I think so, and I don't care what others think if they don't mess with me over it.


Learn not to care about worthless people's opinions on our music, listening to metal requires it...

I haven't heard a lot of negative things about metal lately, mainly because it isn't really a prominent scene right now. Pop and rap are the mainstream, so it doesn't get much attention.





I definitely agree that metal takes a lot of skill. I've played both guitar and drums so I know it is definitely a challenge to play some metal songs.

Reply:Probably because they have heard about one or two infamous bands and think that all metal bands must be like that or, have never bothered to listen to a song. I agree that metal takes a lot of talent to play and can be very melodic. I also think it is fair to say that, if any genre of music is a bad influence, that genre is rap.

Reply:People generalize with metal, they base it on the extremes (Ie Black metal). But even the guitar in a metal song requires more talent the the whole rap song put together.

Rap music isn't all about gun fights, arguing, etc, either...and many of rap's artists are actually talented individuals who don't rap about all the negatives....listen to some old school like RunDMC and even Tupac and Eminem have songs with meaningful lyrics, not just ho's and violence and such....even Pop music has it's moments. So while I agree with you in regards to the criticism of metal music, you shouldn't turn right around and bash another genre that you yourself never gave enough of a chance and obviously don't quite understand ;)

Talent as an ability that is developed like every other ability a person learns throughout life. It has been scientifically proven that talent is an ability based off years of practice with the individual’s sincere interest in the developed ability that he or she has.


Take a pro athlete for instance, any pro foot ball player has been playing football for years, most of them have been playing football since they were just old enough to participate in the sport. Same goes for people of other talents, music, acting, even such skills as mechanical comprehension and so on.


Why do people have this fairy tale idea that people are just born and meant to do what they do, as far as I know, people are born to live and make choices. Is this some kind of way for people to make themselves feel above others, is it a way for people to cope with certain failures in life, if it is, it can very easily back fire and make an individual feel just the opposite.

I agree with everything u said cause its all true...People have to work hard to earn their talent and to unlock them to their fullest Potential....you have to practise to be good at something...it is not a born talent...and I cant stand when people said that that person was born Lucky cause they were born with a gift a talent...





Yes people are indeed born to make choices in their lives and to learn, live and grow....And we can all work hard to unlock our talents. You can not be born to be good at something, your brain has to get used to something when you practice over and over again......that is how it works ^_^





I used to believe in Prodigy and that somehow it could be genetic that a child could be born talented....But its Hard work and Determination that helps that child to unlock that potential....Like some people are just naturally gifted than others.... but you need hard work, dedication, and practice to fully bring your talent out. Anything is possible with hard work dedication...

whats the deal with so many people hating fat people?


I notice a lot of people bash them, not all fat people are lazy.





I have been big all my life, not that i choose to be it's just what i am. Sure i work out, infact i'm the only one that has an active life in my family and everyone else just sits around the house but doesn't gain a pound.





I think it's not fair that everyone bash fat people just because they are big when some people arent blessed with a high metabolism, just because someone is big doesn't mean they eat a lot. My brother is only 140 pounds and he eats almost three times what i eat and no i don't eat junk food





I'm not super big but i'm not small, so before the bashers insult me i have a neck, only thing thats big is my stomach sadly and it's not even super big

I just finished my classes to become a Certified Personal Trainer. The more you know about obesity, the percentage of people who fit into the category, and what it does to your body, the more you want to STOP it.





Let's be realistic here-when I was a kid, there were one or two kids IN MY SCHOOL who were 'big'. Not hugely fat, but larger than average. Now, being skinny is abnormal. Since I was a kid, people have gotten lazier, started eating more fast food, and thus, gotten fatter.





It's fact. It's reality. The VAST majority of overweight/obese people are due to sheer laziness, not genetics, and not due to medical problems or medications.





Did you know, that in the USA, we spend more money each year on fast food than higher education? That the average American eats fast food THREE TIMES each and every week?





This is not about making overweight people feel bad. This isn't about making fun of people because they aren't considered aesthetically pleasing. This is about the large cost of health care for these people, the quality of life, and the monopoly that fast food has on this country.





Here are a few things that can happen to your body if you live the average American (sedentary) lifestyle





High cholesterol: Do you know what that REALLY means? It means that fat cells (lipids), which are not water soluble, start to build up in your arteries. Bit by bit, they narrow the passages for your blood. This puts strain on your heart (the most important muscle in your body).





Diabetes: Yeah, we all know it means you can't have a lot of sugar. Do you know what this does to your body? It makes your kidneys work harder. And your liver. And your pancreas. If you're lucky, you can only take a pill every day and prick your finger. If you aren't so lucky, you'll have to give yourself insulin shots. A man my husband went to high school with (he's 37 now) has had diabetes since he was 30 due to his weight and diet. Guess where he is now? Getting dialysis 3 times a week because his kidneys don't work.





Belly fat: Ahh yes, the ever elusive belly fat that we can never seem to get rid of. Do you know what's inside your belly? Organs. Know what happens when you've got a huge, fat belly? That's right, boys and girls, your ORGANS become enclosed by F-A-T. Does that sound healthy? Didn't think so.

Reply:They do it because it's the only form of hatred and discrimination that people are still encouraged to practice openly. Even radio talk show hosts openly bash "fat people" implying that they should be the object of our hatred. If they were bashing African Americans, cancer survivors or Jews with the same kind of hatred they would be sued up the wazoo.

Obesity is killing more people now than smoking, they are cosating the heath industry more, they are more at risk for ceratin cancer than smokers are AND pregnant women who are obese put themselves and their unborn at greater risk.

and because of that, people started to think that i HATE japan.


i kno hate is a pretty powerful word but i put "love" instead of "like" too. is'nt "love" a powerful word too??

I think people are scared of me?

but im not sure if its a good kind of scared or a bad kind of scared. i mean, im the guy that isnt afraid to sit in the front of the class but isnt the teachers pet. im not the annoying know-it-all that aces everything. sure, i do well on my tests, and turn in most of my work, but im no honor student. i participate in class, but, b/c of my schedule dont have many people to talk to that i know, so i usually just mind my own business and do my stuff. im not really aloof and shun people, im actually really nice and friendly and charming when people want to talk.





if people ask for my help, i help as best i can.


i try to do whats right and stay quiet when im supposed to be.


i try to be like my role models (dont make fun of me now) superman and batman. i try to always do whats right, even if whats right is difficult. when people look at me i want people to see me as strong, and as a leader. so, i try to be independent. i dont ask for peoples help. ((more coming))

no i dont think they are scared.maybe they dont know who to approach you.try to talk to them it might work out better then waiting for them to come to you.
