Do People Really need clarification On these Topics?

I have seen some people on here cite PeTA for being against animal murder but for abortion and Conservative people against abortion but for the death penalty as Hipocracy.





To clarify for those who can't differentiate between hipocracy and logic, allow me.





PeTA people are against animal murder because the animals are innocent, and have done nothing to warrant such condemnation.


PeTA people are for abortion because they feel that a fetus that is not yet out of the womb is not a life, does not have enough cells to be considered a life therefore not an innocent life.





Conservative people are against abortion, because they feel that once the cell has divided, there are enough cells to consider it a life. Therefore it is an innocent life that has no say in whether it gets to live or not.





They are for the death penalty because the people on death row are the most foul of the human population on the planet and are the compelete opposite of innocent, therefore they deserve to die.

Do People Really need clarification On these Topics?
I agree - these are two totally separate and unrelated topics.





Many like to paint with a broad brush and say that "conservatives" are all pro-life and pro-death penalty, while "liberals" are all pro-choice and anti-death penalty.





God help us if we're not just a little more complex than that.





There is no inherent contradiction in being pro-life and anti-death penalty, OR vice-versa.





These are both highly complex issues, and both deserve critical thought and constructive discussion. Unfortunately, both debates all too often devolve into name calling and the citing of bumper sticker slogans.
Reply:Okay then. Now that that's settled, why don't you head off to the Middle East to see if you can't bring all sides together. Just tell everyone what everyone else is saying. SHOULD WORK GREAT!

Do you find that happens in your real life?
Reply:Alot of people on here think that their opinion or interpretation of a topic is a fact.
Reply:I only have 3 things to say to PeTa and Conservative people:





Eat a hamburger.


Dont get pregnant.


Put all of the inmates enclosed in a room together so they can all kill eachother.
