By "business" people, I'm talking about management, salespeople, investment bankers, stock brokers, financial advisors, small business owners etc.
I have known quite a few people that work in these fields, and they all shared a lack of morality. It's disappointing because these people have the "life of the party" type personality, and are fun to be around. But I guess that is just part of their ability to smooth talk to get what they want out of people.
There are some very smart, and motivated people that work in these fields, but it seems they will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
Can people who value honesty survive in business?
Are most people in the "business" and corporate world immoral, unethical and just plain awful people?
Most people in the business world are like most people everywhere. You cannot thrive in business without a strong moral sense and paying strict attention to ethics.
